Melissa Fensterstock, CEO + Founder

Prior to joining Landsdowne Labs, Melissa was co-founder & CEO of consumer product beauty brand that was carried in over 600 retail outlets and covered by major media such as the NYT, WSJ, and Today Show. Her prior experience is in biotech and medtech. Melissa ran Corporate Development for a publicly traded biotech Pharmaceuticals and started her career at Stryker Orthopedics. Melissa was a Robert S. Kaplan Life Science Fellow at Harvard Business School, where she earned her MBA. She also holds an MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge & a BA in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Robert Langer, Founder

Robert S. Langer is the David H. Koch Institute Professor at MIT.  Dr. Langer has written more than 1,400 articles.  He also has over 1,300 issued and pending patents worldwide.  Dr. Langer’s patents have been licensed or sublicensed to over 350 pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology and medical device companies.  He is the most cited engineer in history (h-index 246 according to Google Scholar). He is a member of of all 3 national academies and his technologies have touched billions of lives.

Dr. Jeff Karp, Founder

Dr. Jeff Karp is a Professor of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Principal Faculty at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, and an affiliate faculty at the Broad Institute and at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. His work spans the fields of drug delivery, medical devices, stem cell therapeutics, and tissue adhesives. He He has published >100 peer-reviewed papers (with >14,500 citations), has given >250 national and international invited lectures, and has >100 issued or pending national/international patents. Several technologies developed in his lab have formed the foundation for multiple products on the market and currently under development and for the launch of six companies that have raised over $100 Million in funding including Skintifique (a skincare company), Gecko Biomedical (a tissue adhesive company), Alivio Therapeutics (an inflammation targeting company), Frequency Therapeutics (a regenerative medicine company), Molecular Infusions (a cannabinoid company), and Landsdowne Labs (a child safety company)

Jonah Myerberg, Founder

Jonah Myerberg is co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Desktop Metal Inc. Prior to founding Desktop Metal, Jonah established and led A123 System’s advanced Lithium Ion cell development group, installing his batteries into Formula One and LMP1 teams. In 2014, Jonah helped launch Gradiant Corporation and deploy massive water desalination plants in west Texas. Jonah received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Theresa Tribble, Founder

Theresa has led the development efforts for Landsdowne Lab’s Quick Release Medical Tape. She brings 15 years of experience in healthcare and life sciences strategy, commercialization, marketing and operations. She was part of the founding team at SynapDx where she held the role of Vice President of Commercial Strategy. She started her career at Putnam Associates, a life sciences strategy consulting firm. She was selected as a Harvard Blavatnik Fellow in Life Science Entrepreneurship and earned an MBA with Honors from Harvard Business School. Theresa completed her undergraduate degree at Wellesley College. Theresa Tribble is CBO for Everlywell.


Mark Bertolami

Mark is a senior operating executive with over 30 years of experience in technology oriented consumer products. Mark spent the first 26 years of his career at Duracell under a number of owners including Kraft, KKR, Duracell, Gillette, and Procter & Gamble. Over the course of his career at Duracell he served in a broad range of executive roles in Marketing, Sales, New Products & Technology, Business Development, Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Operations and General Management. Prior to retiring from Procter & Gamble in 2011 he served as the Global President for P&Gs Duracell business – a $2.5 Billion franchise and the Chairman of the Board of China Battery Holdings – a majority owned joint venture. He currently serves on the Board of Acumentrics – a Boston based Private Equity backed firm, is a Strategic Advisor/investor to early/growth stage companies, and periodically serves as a growth strategy and leadership consultant.

Dr. Bryan Laulicht

Dr. Laulicht was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences Technology program in the laboratories of Dr. Robert Langer and Dr. Jeffrey Karp. In 2012 he was named  one  of  the 35 most innovative people under the age of  35 by  MIT  Technology  Review. Dr. Laulicht has co-authored eleven publications and 18 patents; his work has been published in nine conference proceedings and abstracts. Dr. Laulicht received a BA in Biophysics from Columbia University where he was an I.I. Rabi Science Research Scholar and a PhD in Medical Science from Brown University, conducting research in Dr. Mathiowitz’s laboratory, for which he won the Joukowsky Outstanding Dissertation Award. Bryan Laulicht is Founder and CEO at Perosphere.
